Physiotherapy is the science that deals with the human musculoskeletal system. This system includes everything related to movement, such as muscles, joints, and nerves.
It is a treatment aimed at restoring, improving, and maintaining mobility, functionality, and quality of life. Physiotherapy not only offers solutions for physical limitations but can also help relieve pain and promote overall well-being.

This is a massage performed by a physiotherapist. It can relieve various complaints such as headaches, stress-related issues, neck, shoulder, and back problems, pain in the buttocks/pelvic area, heel spur, and even general fatigue.

Exercising is very healthy. It makes us stronger and improves our fitness. After exertion, however, relaxation is important. Sports massage helps loosen up the muscles, which improves performance and helps prevent injuries.

These can arise from prolonged and/or incorrect sitting, stress, insufficient or no physical activity, or frequent overhead work. Sometimes, radiating pain in the arm may also be experienced. This complaint is very treatable. Treatment focuses on relaxing the muscles and mobilizing the vertebrae. You will also receive the necessary exercises and advice to prevent recurrence.

"Non-specific" means that no clear physical abnormality has been found. Sometimes, however, a specific cause can be identified, such as a pinched nerve, an infection, a vertebral fracture, or wear and tear.
Non-specific back pain is more common and often results from poor sitting posture, improper lifting, or prolonged sitting or standing.

A hernia is a bulging of the intervertebral disc. This bulge presses on a nerve or the spinal cord, causing pain. Depending on severity, you may also experience sensory disturbances or loss of function. A hernia can occur in the neck or lower back, with radiating pain into the arm or leg.

Piriformis syndrome primarily causes stabbing pain in the buttock region, radiating to the back of the leg. This occurs because the sciatic nerve (nervus ischiadicus), which runs from the lower back through the buttock into the leg, becomes irritated. The pain worsens after prolonged sitting, walking, or running, but decreases when lying on the back. Piriformis syndrome can develop as a result of prolonged standing or incorrect sitting posture.

Plantar fasciitis, also known as inflammation of the plantar fascia, is a common condition characterized by pain and inflammation of the plantar fascia — a thick band of tissue that stretches from the heel to the ball of the foot. This fascia is an important structure that supports the foot and absorbs shock while walking and standing. When it becomes inflamed, it can cause pain and stiffness in the heel and foot, especially upon waking and taking the first steps.
If the inflammation persists over time, it can lead to the development of a heel spur — a bony outgrowth on the heel bone. Plantar fasciitis can result from overuse, poor foot posture, or unsuitable footwear.

Constipation, also known as bowel obstruction (difficulty passing stools), can be very bothersome. Complaints such as a bloated stomach, abdominal pain, and difficulty with bowel movements affect not only the body but also daily functioning and overall well-being.
Through bowel stimulation, blood circulation is improved and the intestines are encouraged to become more active. As a result, you will often notice that bowel movements become easier.
Physiotherapy thus offers a natural and safe way to support the intestines and reduce your symptoms.
